What Our Clients Say About Greenlife

Hoanib Camp is really amazing, incredible to be in such a place, it’s like to be out of the world !

Our 5 days were not so short finally, except for an afternoon when the temperature went up to 44 deg Celsius! The tents are very comfortable and we got the remotest one… fantastic.

The activities were great, our guide Alpha, brillant, and we have had the huge chance to see everyday the 2 lionesses with the 3 cubs (4 months old).

Excellent organization both in Botswana and in South Africa. Strict adherence to the schedule.

Botswana. In Gunns Camp, we watched the attack of the Behemoth, it was a spectacular sight. In POM-POM the level of service is so high that it is unbelievable that all this is only for 18 people.

South Africa. Crawfords Beach Lodge I found exactly what I was expecting. Friendly staff, excellent cuisine, great local wines at great prices (note that in Russia, a similar wine will cost at least 5 times more expensive). Despite the late arrival on the first day, we were greeted at reception and offered dinner. Nice beach.

We are planning future trips to Malawi and Mozambique, we will be glad to visit Crawfords again.

Thank you for organizing the most amazing trip to the Okavango Delta for our family. Our transfers were a breeze with the help of your friendly staff that met us in Maun with a cool face cloth and a huge smile.

Little Tubu is almost impossible to describe. We have been to many game lodges and on numerous safaris before but were totally blown away by the abundance of wildlife and breath-taking landscapes that awaited us. We have unbelievable memories, from having a glass of wine on the deck whilst an elephant is helping himself to a drink out of the swimming pool in front of us to watching a baby warthog escape the clutches of a leopard. I felt like an extra on a program for National Geographic watching herds of animals filling the horizon at sunset.

Our guide was an incredible man called Broken, with the patience of a saint and an endless knowledge of animals, birds and plants he kept us entertained for hours.

A huge thank you to Sarika and the wonderful team at Little Tubu that looked after our every need and the incredible chef that made sure we all picked up 2 kilograms with his incredible variety of mouth-watering dishes. I can only say that this is an experience that should be on any nature lovers bucket list. I have no idea how we are going to top this!

At every lodge, the guides complimented us on the make-up of our safari and said we had received exceptional advice in putting it together. The combination of walking, driving and even a little horse riding, the variety of geographical areas and the combination of three to five star lodges made for an exceptional experience. All paperwork was very clear and transfers worked flawlessly. Your team was always available via email and no question was too small as we first-timers put together a trip that made us look like veterans. Our trip of a lifetime is now something we MUST do again and while we wait to be able to book again with you, we have already recommended you to other friends. Thank you for making our trip to South Africa one that amazed the whole family.

Now for the lodges:

Tswalu: A magical place of vast distance and stunning rare animals. We saw both an Aardvark up close and a pangolin. A herd of rare sable antelopes came every day to sit in front of the lodge. We loved being able to step from our thatched cottage and walk to the water hole if we wished. Guide: Francois. Tracker: Sibbs.

Rhino Walking Safari: Like being in a rich uncle’s private campground. Walking every morning in the bush, tracking big game, was a magical experience and a perspective one can’t get in a Landrover. Lovely meals and service around one dining table and a campfire to finish the evenings. Low key and intimate experience. Other lodges might be fancier but the privilege of walking was the exceptional experience of our entire safari. Guide: Bernard, Tracker: Amos.

Singita Ebony: Perhaps should have done this last. Lost our minds at the sight of our luxurious rooms with private plunge pools overlooking elephants in the river. Shockingly swanky – may have spoiled our two sons rotten – but exceptional service was low key and our guide was kickass! Guide: Andy, Tracker Ruhl.

Singita Sweni: Architectural glass box tree houses overlooking crocodile river. No plunge pools (sigh) but had the big pool to ourselves. Some dodgy weather kept animal sightings lower but still saw exciting elephant herds, white rhino, lions. Fun wine tasting and as everywhere, exceptional service. Guide: Jonathon, Tracker, Christoff.

I can’t tell you how much thicker and more exciting the game sightings were than we had imagined. Even days when we missed our targeted animal, something else would pop up to dazzle us. Can’t tell you how we love Amarullo in our coffee now and rock shandy. Such a disappointment to be home and no one to wash and iron our clothes every night and bring us 5-star meals. The guides and service staff really host and care for the guests and we were extremely comfortable wherever we went. All guides were experts and made us feel like we were in good hands. Even the rides in small planes were exciting. Not since the Galapagos have we been so awed by a vacation. The yearning to return has already begun.

I could go on for hours but I have 2,500 photos to edit (and we are not a photo-heavy family). Thank you again for all your work in putting this trip together and adding our older son at the last minute. It meant the world to us to make this trip all together.

Our safari was wonderful as usual.

We saw more than we expected in Khwai Tented Camp.  Hyenas with babies in the darkness and wild dogs hunting, spectacular!!!

For the first time we came back to the same place: Duba Plains. A lot of changes regarding lions hunting buffalos, but still fascinating. Kops was one of the best guide we have ever had.

Thank you again for your services. Well organized.

We were about to contact you for a visit that was in every respect wonderfully planned. We returned yesterday, full of excitement and experiences. Every detail went according to how it was planned. We had high expectations, but especially Cheetah Plains went beyond those expectations. If we ever return, we will certainly think about you, and we are happy to recommend your company for others.
